Project Overview

The project is an undertaking of the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) with assistance and support from the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and the advice of several highly regarded experts. The project is a three year (July 2005-July 2008) systemic strategy for strengthening board member leadership; promoting community engagement, collaboration and innovation; and aligning K-12, ESD and community college board policies and programs to improve K-12 student achievement.

The project will provide professional development, research services and facilitation to board and administrative leaders for selected teams of K-12 districts, ESDs and community college districts.
